Today on SAT my dad made me go back to the English section to test me on some questions and i got 3 wrong because the questions were like a sentence where some words were possibly wrong and you should have to choose which one was wrong and then there was also 5 choices and the last choice was No Error and there were 17 questions which were all pretty hard and the choices all seemed correct but somehow they manage to get one wrong.

SAT
TOdays SAT wasd on some test strategies like what you should do before the 3 days of an upcou should jog your ming test related to math, their suggestions were to take a full length practice test that is also timed just like the real test, then you should read over the test and see what you got wrong and concetrate on that area before the test and finally on the night before the test they suggest you dont do anything but gather together the supplies you would need for this test. Then they suggest in the morningf before the test your memory by looking at the questions from your practice test. Then during the test they said dont be shaken and just do your best and try hard and try and remember what questions you were concetrating on. Then they said after the test most people think they blew it, even the high scorers and you dont remember what you got right because all you can think about is the questions that stumped you and got you angry and confused, they said this would be normal and most people actually get a really good mark afterwards.

SAT
Todays SAT was on triangles, there were right triangles which had one side that is 90 degrees and special right triangles which had 3-4-5 sides and then there is the 30-60-90 degree triangle which has one of all those degrees and then there were multiple strange figures which showed a lot of weird triangles where you would find the degrees and then they taught you how to find the degrees.

SAT
Todays SAT was on the math section where they taught you how to guess an answer if you are unsure of something. First you would Eliminate Unreasonable Answer Choices then you would Eliminate the obvious hard Questions then you should be down to 2 answers to choose from, then you can round the calculation to see which one is closer. Then they gave a bunch of questions where you can try this out. They suggest using using this for the math multiple choice sections and not the grid in sections cause it would not work as well.

SAT
Todays SAT was on the math section once again and was about some regular questions which were quiet simple just like i did before. The questions were very simple and i got almost all of them correct except for one litte mistake and one question that was worded very awkardly and so i wasn't very sure of it. But i got most of it right and was very good.

SAT
Todays blog was on the long passage sections where you have to read a long passage and answer some questions where you have to explain your answer and explain why and somtimes how. Like they may ask you who was Bobby's secret admirerer and how do you know or how can you tell. They also said you can also skim the text to manage your time because not all of the text is important and you should look at the questions first to determine when to stop reading and when to continue. This part of the SAT is vrey time limited so they said you should just skim the text and find out the 5 W's and the answer to the question. They said by finding out who what when where and why you can basically answer all the questions they throw at you.

SAT
Todays SAT was still in the critical reading section where they tell you a ton of strategies and hints on the test and hwo you should prepare for it because the criical reading section is often failed by many students as said in the text. They said you have to manage your time wisely in order to complete it and so they gave a layout of hwo you should manage your time like 10 minutes reading the story and 5 minutes writing it and such. They also said you can also skim the text to manage your time because not all of the text is important and you should look at the questions first to determine when to stop reading and when to continue. This part of the SAT is vrey time limited so they said you should just skim the text and find out the 5 W's and the answer to the question. SAT
Todays SAT was on long and short critical reading passages where they gave you many strategies but were all basically based on the same thing which was to just skim over the passage and find out what you need to know and no excess information that'll just waste your time because they don't give a lot of time on these things. The book suggested finding out the 5 W's(who, what, when, where, why). This way you can answer all the questions and still have some time left to check over them.

SAT
Today's SAT was on how to attack the critical reading component which is what the title says, where they give you a bunch of questions on a article before and you just answer them either in grid ins or multiple choice like questions and also the answers were 2 pages long at the back also explaining why the answer is what.

SAT School- Thursday
Todays SAT was on Paragraph Correction Problems which was just read a paragraph and answer 3-4 questions on that topic and the Chapter ended with a quick summary so you don't forgot the things in the start of the chapter. Chapter 4 began which was on Essay strategies which was just learning the skills to write a SAT leveled essay which told you to think and brainstorm first for 5 minutes then get down to the content of it all. At school my first block was science where we had a huge markfest and marked a lot of piece of work. then at English we were getting prepped for a upcoming test. Then after lunch was PE where we just did some wrestling and played a game of British Bulldog where 20 people had to crawl to the other side and 4 people would try and stop them by flipping them over. In the end there were 7 people, me among them, and we were up against 20 people In the end 4 of us made it to the other side and was one of them. My last block was band which was really boring cause we just reviewed some pieces of work.

School - Monday
I hate Mondays but i still have to go to school. Today's first block was science and we marked several pieces of work and the teacher did 3 demonstrations and told us to write a paragraph with 2 diagrams and a summary statement for each demonstration and explain why whatever happened, happened. Second block was English where we had a TOC and worked on our posters for the whole block. Then it was lunch time where i went to the cafeteria to get some noodles before going to gym. At gym we started wrestling in the mat room which is basically a room filled with mats on the floor for it to be safe for wrestling but the walls were made of glass and bricks so it wasn't really all that safe but wrestling is suppose to be on the floor. When me and my friend were wrestling he pulled my finger and it's still in pain right now. It's the feeling you get when a basketball hits your fingers but worse, probably 10* worse. So right now i can barely type a single letter. Next block was band and i could barely play my trumpet because i had to press my fingers down which was almost impposible at that moment. Then school was finally over but i had to walk home in shorts when it was raining because i didn't have time to change after gym because we ended late.

School - Friday
Today was the last day of the week, finally. First block was Tech Ed where we worked on our gum ball machines and drilled holes in them. Second block was French where we had a test on some words related to family members and where we had change of seating, i got from being in the back to being in dead center in the front, literally. Then it was lunch time when my friends and I went to Cockney King's again and i bought a poutine, which was really good but i think i ate too much and got a stomach ache during Social Studies where we had a huge whopping chapter test which i epically failed and do not want to go into details with. At math we were suppose to have a quiz but our teacher forgot to make it so we were off lucky and just had to do a few pieces of homework she assigned which i also finished in class. That's all for this week.

National Geographics

The world's biggest snake was a massive anaconda-like beast that slithered through steamy tropical rain forests about 60 million years ago, says a new study that describes the ancient giant. Fossils found in northeastern Colombia's Cerrejon coal mine indicate the reptile, dubbed Titanoboa cerrejonesis, was at least 42 feet (13 meters) long and weighed 2,500 pounds (1,135 kilograms).
"That's longer than a city bus and … heavier than a car," said lead study author Jason Head, a fossil-snake expert at the University of Toronto Mississauga in Canada and a research associate with the Smithsonian Institution.
Previously the biggest snake known was Gigantophis garstini, which was 36 to 38 feet (11 to 11.6 meters) long. That snake lived in North Africa about 40 million years ago.
Hans-Dieter Sues, associate director for research and collections at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History, was not involved with the study but has seen the snake fossils.
Sues noted that humans would stand no chance against one of these giants, which killed their prey by slow suffocation.
"Given the sheer size—the sheer cross-section of that snake—it would be probably like one of those devices they use to crush old cars in a junkyard," Sues said.
In addition, the snake's heft indicates that it lived when the tropics were much warmer than they are today, a find that holds potential implications for theories of once and future climate change.
Biggest Snake Needed the Heat
Scientists know there's a link between a snake's body size, how fast it uses and produces energy, and climate.
